I got tired of guessing.
I play Valorant on a Wooting. Somewhere along the way I did what everyone does. I watched the tutorials, copied an actuation point out of a video, set Rapid Trigger to whatever a pro said he used, and went back in to git gud.
Some days it felt sharper. Some days it did not. I could never tell whether the setting had done anything or whether I had just warmed up properly. So I changed the numbers again, because that is what you do.
What bugged me is that the thing I wanted to know is measurable. There is a real gap between letting go of a movement key and the shot landing, and my keyboard already reports how far every key travelled. Nobody was measuring any of it. Every bit of advice I could find was somebody's feel, passed along.
So I started recording mine. That is all hall-e is: it watches your own WASD and clicks, works the timing out on your own machine, and tells you what to change.
